But it’s my impression that there is nothing unusual deploying MySQL on LEAP.
Configuring MySQL in any way including a cluster is something that is entirely MySQL-specific and completely separate from the HostOS it’s sitting on. AFAIK all config files use standard names and are located in standard locations.
If you want to verify the names and locations of installed files, you can inspect the package contents with
rpm -ql *packagename *
