Is there any easy page/portal to show what's holding up the snapshots?

I know I can go to openqa.opensuse.org to see the results of all the tests, but it is rather unintuitive to know exactly what’s going on with all the different targets and tests. Is there any place to go see something like “UEFI booting is broken, here are the bugs” or “KDE install not working” that gets updated?

I’m sure the mailing list probably has the relevant info, but I’m talking about a quick 10-sec version to just see the status.

I don’t know of anything easier than looking at OpenQA.

There was a recent factory mailing list message indicating that a problem with LXDM was the main holdup.

https://build.opensuse.org/project/staging_projects/openSUSE:Factory On the right side it lists the problems with that batch of updates, with error messages like:

Thanks, that’s at least a little better than openQA. Still doesn’t really explain what “important” though, which knowing a lot about the whole build procedure/setup.

note: those are the staging errors - stuff that is blocked from ENTERING Tumbleweed; that’s one step too soon compared to what the OP looked for.

The best advise I can give is Factory Staging Dashboard - openSUSE Build Service which is the full truth: the lowest part is the
openQA results for 20141217 (snapshot currently tested and to be published)

This link brings you to a full overview of the tests for that very snapshot. Look out for anything where the middle column is on red background: those are fatal errors that need to be fixed prior to being published (and even that is a lie: there are currently 13 tests marked as ‘known to be broken’. But you get the idea: fix all those issues and we’re good to go for a new snapshot

Cheers,
Dominique
