Currently its only for Ubuntu systems and I was wondering if there is a fix for that. Or if there’s an opensuse voice assistant available for PCs. Like Cortana on Windows 10.
Skimming the documentation for Sirius, it looks like you can build it yourself from source.
Referring to the following page
http://sirius.clarity-lab.org/sirius-suite/
OpenCV is available from http://software.opensuse.org.
For the other components, instructions and links to tar files are provided at the above link.
So, it doesn’t seem to be specific to Ubuntu and can be built on any Linux including openSUSE.
If you want to “roll your own” this looks interesting and don’t want to simply embed an existing service like Siri, Cortana or Google Now.

What I wanted is a finished version for opensuse. I’m guessing there isn’t one? It does say step by step how to build it from scratch but I’m hesitant as I know jack about programming. Lol. Don’t wanna mess anything up. Even experts make mistakes sometimes and that’s how we get bugs.
There doesn’t seem to be a current RPM build for any distro but that shouldn’t be too surprising… for now.
This project seems to be very young, and pretty much at the bleeding/leading edge for this kind of software.
Because I’m interested in this kind of stuff, I’m likely going to make an attempt at building from source sometime soon and if I’m successful I’ll post how I did it.
Skimming the existing documentation… if no undocumented issues are encountered I’d rate the required steps “middle difficulty.” I’ve seen easier and I’ve seen far more complex.
If you’d like to try, go ahead and ask any questions if you run into difficulties.
Or, wait for the pioneers to bang their heads first…
