Is the installer fixed at a certain date?

Pardon the naive question, I saw a lot of updates to 16.0 recently. Less than two weeks ago there were a lot of security updates and the total patches were sizable hundreds of MBs to download.

Since I am planning to install 16.0 on a new desktop I downloaded the checksum of the offline image, it is identical to an older image I downloaded some time ago. Is the installer going to incorporate all the recent updates or is it fixed at a certain date?

I know there was sometimes a new install ISO made, but never very frequent, nor on a regular base. Thus yes, it could happen, but better install and update direct after that then wait IMO.

AFAIK the Leap 16.0 image was refreshed last June 20 and a known problem with the checksum was apparently fixed on August 29, see https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271721#c4
Given the pending release of 16.1 I think that there will be no other refresh of the 16.0 image, but I might be wrong.
