I was with 11.1 KDE4.2 x86-64,screwed up with it’s plasma issue,now with Ubuntu 8.10.
Just download a 11.1 KDE4.2.1 x86-64 from KDE.org,now I’m hesitating to install it,I need some advice,is this KDE4.2.1 stable?
If I install this KDE4.2.1 Live CD,there’ll be factory repo in repositories, which means unstable apps would get in with every update, can I remove those factory repo, just keep OSS,Non-OSS,Update & Packman these 4 repo?

KDE4.2 is ready for everyday use IMHO. I found it rock solid and run it on all three machines now.

If you don’t want updated 4.2 packages, disable the factory repos, no need to remove them.
