A company asked me to get docker-desktop on my work computer which is Leap 15.4.
There is a build of docker that is compatible (new enough) for docker-desktop for Fedora https://download.docker.com/linux/ however if I try to use the repo I get dependency errors.
I’m not sure if this is a lost cause until docker makes a suse build of a new enough version of docker or if there’s a possible way to go from here.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Update: I just heard back from them and they are fine with docker engine instead of docker desktop for Linux so that seems to have solved it.
Well, I’m back to where I started because docker engine has exactly the same limitation.

Since you quite clearly stated it’s for your work computer, you need to purchase the commercial version, suggest you visit the docker website…
Or use something like rancher-desktop, or maybe vscode with docker plugins since don’t really know what your end goal is.
