Is it possible to assign icons/folders to specific workspaces

I’m not sure if this is the proper sub-forum for this question.

I am running 15.2, using Gnome (Classic, I think) and have three monitors and four workspaces set up. A OpenSUSE user I know said something about being able to assign icons/folders to specific workspaces, and possibly even have certain programs open in specific workspaces.

I use each workspace for a specific set of tasks - and usually am using at least three workspaces with folders/programs open in each monitor. I’d like to organize things better. Setting up for the day’s tasks often requires several minutes in the morning, and I’d like to have things set up on boot.

If there are instructions on how to do this, could someone point me to them? (I’ve been doing some seaching, but so far no luck.)

Thanks!

Bob
