Is Enlightenment still available for use in OpenSUSE?

Hi,

I heard about the Enlightenment Desktop Environment and wanted to try it out by using a distro that has it by default or as a choice for installation. I was told that OpenSUSE has it as an option.Does OpenSUSE still have it as a choice in the installation process? I’ve never installed or tried out OpenSUSE before and wanted to know if I can get Enlightenment with both the Net install or DVD version of the ISOs. Thanks!

You might be able to choose it via “custom” from a net intaller.
Otherwise, starting from “server (text only)” isn’t very complicated.

LEAP 42.3 or TW (I haven’t checked LEAP 15 for this)
No matter whether you choose the NET or DVD install,

During your installation you will need to “Configure Online Sources” (yes, even the NET install) to have <all> installation options available.

When you do so,
You then select the “Custom” radio button for your Desktop which should by default open the YaST Software Manager with the Patterns view by default.
Find the Enlightenment pattern and check to select
and then continue your installation.
