is 12.2 64bit supported in an intel Centrino Duo processor

Getting ready to install 12.2 on a laptop that has a intel centrino duo processor. Checking to see if the 64 bit version of 12.2 is supported on this processor. The download help has the processors that are support on the different different version but does not list the Intel Centrino Duo processor.

Does anyone haven any inforamtion on the Centrino Duo processor support?

Do you have a live cd of some distro? Boot to that and check the processor looking for the lm flag;


grep flags /proc/cpuinfo

If not, boot with the 64bit DVD and it will soon tell you…
