Hi there. I’ve a new install of OpenSUSE 12.1
However when I play iPlayer in my browser it’s very glitchy. Sound is fine but the picture is poor and it is like it is skipping 5 frames at a time. I’ve tried it with Firefox & Chrome. Chrome is slightly worse as the sound deteriorates also.
Playing vids on youtube is fine.
Just tried it in chomium and got a message that Shockwave flash had crrashed - this is the first time I have encountered any poblems in chromium.
In Konqueror I get a message ‘Sorry we don’t support your device’.
Yes, I had the same for Konquerer. Tried Seamonkey - again with the same glitchy problem.
I don’t have a TV and use iPlayer lots so need to get it working!

Do you mean BBC
The iPlayer is a service on the BBC website in the UK. It allows people to watch shows that have already aired or stream certain programs live.

Working well on all my machines
All 12.1 - all updated - 32 and 64 bit
Have gone through and updated all software. Now Flash crashes in all browsers when I try to use iPlayer. And youtube has become glitchy.

You may need to try turning Hardware Accel off

Switching off Flash’s Hardware Acceleration fixed the Flash crash, on 12.1 with BBC iPlayer using SeaMonkey.
