IPhone songs ?

Opensuse 13.2

I have some songs on my IPhone that I want to bring to my PC running Opensuse 13.2.

Does anyone know how to do this ?

I tried using a windows based PC with ITunes and doing a library export.
But I cant seem to be able to import it into any Media apps on Opensuse.

The apps that I have tried are Kodi and Banshee.

The first question comes to mind; are these songs in which format?

If they are Fairplay protected m4a’s you need to,ahem, remove the protection.
