Invisble icons in System Tray

I’m running 11.2-m3 KDE4.3 RC1. The only icon visible in the System Tray is
that for the volume, which is a bit ironic as sound doesn’t work in this
system. The other icons, including klipper and Kontact notifications, are
there but not visible.

I’ve made yet another fresh install and the problem has gone. Must be my
lucky day!

And this must be my unlucky one. Now on KDE4.3 RC2 - allegedly - and the
problem is back. Only Sys-tray icon is that for volume. Klipper is there but
invisible. Aargh!
