I’m running 11.2 on an HP HDX18 laptop. The internet connection works perfectly until I reboot the computer, then for some reason stops working. The connection is still detected and is showing as “connected”, but I am unable to use my browser or any other internet-related apps. However, if I disconnect the ethernet cable, restart the computer, and replug the cable after startup it works perfectly again. Any ideas on how to get it to work after restarting without disconnecting the cable? I suppose I could just disconnect the cable every time I shut the computer down, but I’d just rather fix it if a fix was available. I had the same problem when running Ubuntu and Mint also.
