Internet is not working in open suse 11.2

Hi…! I have installed open suse 11.2. Internet is not at all working in opensuse, but it works like a charm in Windows. I’m not an advanced user in linux. So any help will be appreciated. I installed opensuse for learning ruby on rails and python, but without internet, it is little difficult for me to continue with my studies. I’m sorry if any similar thread with answer that exist in this forum.please point out the link.

A few more details. I’m using DSL modem, connected using ethernet.

Open Yast Network Devices - Network Settings

Run thru the config for eth0

Typically, for DSL, you will need PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet).

Thanks for both the replies. I have run through the network services, but it didnt work out for me. I’ll try the pppoe method.
