Internet Interface is up but cannot access internet

Is a fresh install where in the boot step I activated static ip with the ip 192.168.1.1.
When I run ip a the correspondent network interface is given as up, but when trying to run ping 1.1.1.1 it gives no network accsess as result.

Device with static IP can access network but cannot be accessed from another devices in the network

I doubt very much it gives that. Educated guess - you did not configure default gateway.

And often the x.x.x.1 or x.x.x.254 is the IP of the Router…

Probably your are right, I don’t remember to have done that.

My router IP is 192.168.1.254

I might be confused, but this thread appears to be continuation (dup) of your other thread which has a conclusion:

yes, configuring default gateway to 192.168.1.154 solved this problem.

100% not same problem, but just a continuation.
