Hi folks,
I’m not sure whether this problem suits this section, though this was the best place I could find.
It happens a lot that when I’m watching flash videos (e.g. on youtube) I get disconnected from the internet for a short time (about a minute - sometime less and sometime a little more). Sometimes I reconnect manually as it seems to work faster. I have had problems with flash before (crashing), but this one is new.
The problem started about a month ago when I moved to a new apartment and so had a new internet connection. I’ve checked it on windows and didn’t have any problem. The problem is not with browser as it occurs on different browsers (I’ve had the same problem on Chrome, Firefox and Opera). It’s not happening all the time, I might watch a video for an hour just fine or it might occur every 5/10 minutes.
I’m on openSUSE 11.2 (i586) and I’m using Wicd network manager. I’d happily provide more information, just not sure what causes the problem and what kind of information I should provide, so in case more information required please just ask.
Thanks for your time.
