Internet connection requires very urgent help!

Hey I really need help connecting to the internet using suse 10. I am trying to make a switch from windows and don’t really want to go back to XP.

I am a newbie so please bear with me!

The installation seemed to go fine except the internet connection wouldn’t work.
I have two netwok cards both showing configured. They read:
Biostar Microtech Intl RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+
Belkin F5D5000 PCI Card/Desktop Network PCI Card

Could somebody please help me, after 5pm today my Bro is taking his laptop back and I will be in the dark!

Have looked at that thanks, problem is with all the posts I have read today, when I go to network devices, there is no network settings option.

I can’t figure it out, I have literally been on it for hours!
