Hi!! =)
Yesterday i finished to build my personal version of opensuse 11.2 with susestudio but now i have a problem with the wireless card, Intel Wifi Link 1000 BGN.
OpenSuse don’t recognize this wifi card. But i read in the web that this wifi card is recognized by opensuse with the kernel 2.6.31.
What is the problem?? How can i solve this one?
Sorry for my english. =)
Salve!
EDIT: The laptop is Packard Bell Tj65 DT 125 IT. Opensuse is the 64bit version build up with SuseStudio.

The problem is usually missing firmware. Please check the output of the
dmesg command for any such messages.
In the end’s lines of the output message i see that iwlwifi doesn’t installed. Now i ask you what i have to do to install this firmware.
I have downloaded this driver from Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN but i don’t know hot can i compile it.
I am in your hands. =)

You do not need to compile the driver. If you have network access with a
wired connection, then do the following command:
sudo zypper in ipw-firmware
After a reboot, you should be able to configure your wireless.
If you must obtain the firmware on another system, please report back and
I will give you the necessary steps.
