I have just installed linux suse 11 on my HP pavilion dv5 1070ee which have Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN wireless device.
I have installed iwl4965GN but still not visibile to the system.
I hope someone can help me with this as soon as possible.

You installed driver through Yast right? I have the same card on similar machine and Yast shows that iwl4965-ucode package is installed and everything works fine. Also what is the output of the command lspci -k?

You don’t have a 4965 you have a 5100.

How did you know that i have 5100 ???!!!
In my laptop specification you can see that i have “Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN”
that is what was written in the laptop specifications and you will find it on this LINK
Or you can tell me how did you know that i have 5100…
I hope you can help me configure it, i am so saaaaad about this…

I have the older 4965 so i don’t know how to configure your
card, but if you search you will find people that have the
same card and have it working.
