Intel Pro Wireless 4965 - WLan got even worse with 11.3

Hello,
with 11.2 i had some problems with WLan not connecting and randomly disconnecting with the WPA2 Enterprise secured wireless at my university. dmesg would mostly report something like

iwlagn 0000:0c:00.0: Microcode SW error detected. Restarting 0x82000000.

Some research in the web showed this seemed to be somehow related to the driver in combination with the kernel etc.

Anyway, instead of fixing anything 11.3 made i even worse. Disconnects are more frequent and now KNetworkmanager is always showig me wrong information about the bitrate, claiming a have only a few MBit while it is connected with full 54MBit etc.
In addition, the WLan LED keeps blinking away constantly what it didn’t do before.
When disconnecting, dmesg usually shows:

wlan0: deauthenticating from c4:7d:4f:51:df:dd by local choice (reason=3)

On a related note, the Popup-Window of KNetworkmanager sometimes won’t go away, but reside in the window bar with no way of closing it (except restarting the network manager of course).
