I have OpenSuse 11 64bit, with a graphic adapter Intel GMA 950. I have upgrade package xorg-x11-driver-video-x86-7.3-206.2, and now X don’t start .
This is the Xorg.0.log
(II) LoadModule: “intel”
(II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//drivers/intel_drv.so
dlopen: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//drivers/intel_drv.so: undefined symbol: PictureScreenPrivateKey
(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//drivers/intel_drv.so
(II) UnloadModule: “intel”
(EE) Failed to load module “intel” (loader failed, 7)
mine wont start either and its intel 845g ,and its the same problem with the same log
i downgraded the xorg-x11-driver-video package and it fixed it but why does upgrading to this version is crappy?
You are not using the build service repo then
Index of /repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.0
give it a try
actually using this repos package is what causes the problem
