Intel 536 EP

Hi!

I have Intel 536 EP dial-up modem, I don’t know how to install it because it want to install it but I have no internet connection.
On Linux mint I compiled it from source (the latest driver Index of /packages/Intel/Philippe.Vouters ).
On suse I don’t know how to compile, and I haven’t the right packages (CD version 11.4).
Can somebody tell me which packages need to download, how to compile, and what to do then?
Thanks!

the method on Linux systems is quite the same, you need only to provide kernel headers and config file for you current kernel.
modem configuration stays the same with ppp and/or wvdial.
