Intel 4965 AGN not working after reinstall

I have a Dell XPS m1530 which has an Intel 4965 AGN wifi card. I installed openSUSE 11.1 64-bit not long after it was released, but recently due to a hard drive problem I was forced to format and re-install. I used the same installation DVD that I burned several months ago, but now my laptop cannot connect to my wireless network when WPA encryption is enabled. This use to work prior to the install, matter of fact I didn’t change any settings on the wireless router, which is a D-Link DIR-665 running firmware 1.21. I have tried installing all the updates using my wired NIC and it hasn’t fixed the problem.

I have iwl4965-ucode-228.57.2.21-1.9 installed and I’m using
kernel-default-2.6.27.21-0.1.2. My method of connecting is using knetworkmanager3 under kde3 which is what I was doing before. (Prior to the reinstall I did have both kde3 and kde4 installed, but now I only have kde3 if that could some how affect it.) After I try to connect to my network with WPA enabled I get the following in my /var/log/messages:

Does anyone know what the, “disassociating by local choice (reason=3)” means or if there are any other problems indicated by this output?

I’d appreciate any help or ideas anyone has on how to get this working.

Thanks,
Darren
