You have to ask that on the SLED forum. These are the openSUSE forums. The same login/pass as here
works there, but it is a different site, and different product, and different support. There is also
an HP chap who answers sometimes.
Try:
suse.com/forum

Hi!
Usually it is recommended to 1st install windows, and Linux afterwards.
Take that serious.
Windows wants to have space for more than one partition.
How do you want to provide space for these ?
And windows 8 wants to have secure boot, usually.
Do you want to replace the existing boot loader by a windows 8 boot loader ?
Do you think that this one takes care of any Linux ??
Further, I don’t know if the windows installer has any tools to resize any existing partitions.
But that as well isn’t a Linux question, rather a question to a windows forum !
My personal advice:
Don’t put your running SLED at risk.
Good luck
Mike

I tried it before posting, it works. It is redirected to novell, but it works.
