Installing Realtek Audio Driver

I’m new to openSuse. Could someone guide me in installing the driver I just downloaded?

I have Realtek HD audio. It worked out of the box with Suse 11.0.

Do you not have sound?

What driver are you downloading?

My sound works. I want to update the driver. How can you tell which version is installed? I downloaded the Linux driver from Realtek.

I found out that open Suse is using some generic Intel driver for my sound.

My experience from helping users is the alsa driver works better than the realtek driver.
