I need help installing Open Suse. I have a dual boot setup with Ubuntu on one Drive and Xp on the other. I want to replace Ubuntu with Open Suse. But, Open Suse is persistent about installing using my Nvidia Raid service. I do not even have Raid Enabled for either Sata 3 drive. How to I set it to just take over my Ubuntu drive and dual boot with XP on my other one?
Very odd, I have an Nvidia chipset and dual boot with Vista, and I “simply” installed it, and it did what I told it to.
Are you trying to install with DVD or Net Install CD, or using a Live CD?
With Net CD or DVD you can prevent the use of Nvidia RAID driver, by passing “broken_modules=<modulename>” on the boot line.
