installing FlickrFaves on a OpenSuse machine 12.2

I want to install FlickrFaves on a OpenSuse machine. I have running opensuse version 12.2.

Well, FlickrFaves comes in the current version: 2.0.4 with some special JAR-File, But my local linux-geeks recomend me to install all the stuff I need with YAST.

What should I do now?

It is a standalone tool. Ensure openJDK is installed.
from konsole

java -jar FlickrFaves-2.0.4.jar

and it works. It will prompt you to authorize at yahoo(will open web browser). Then you can work with it.

If '-jar' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
    cnf -jar
linux-ale9:/home/martin #

how to ´proceed?

the error means that the command line interpreter is unable to find the “full” path to the jar
you need to “cd” to to the directory where the jar is
or provide full path to the jar
For example my jar is in “Downloads” folder
Then i need to do

java -jar /home/<profileName>/Downloads/FlickrFaves-2.0.4.jar

ive finally managed to install FlickrFaves on my computer. it works - that means i

a. can login into flickr
b. see all my faves

but - i do not know how to download them?!

well i am pretty clueless.

i have running opensuse 12.2 **with KDE **- i am a noob regarding Gnome ;-(

well i have java-1_7_0-openjdk - it allready runs on my machine

i want to install FlickrFaves

this is a executable - i have downloaded it - but what is missing

well i have no glue what is missing
