Installing FileZilla under openSUSE 11.2 64-bit

I have been using gFTP to transfer files to/from a windows machine, but have run into a problem and wanted to try FileZilla. Using YasT (Package Search) I found and selected “filezilla - A GUI FTP and SFTP Client”, and proceeded to attempt to install it. The outcome is:

Attempting to install FileZilla under YasT:

Download failed: File ‘/repodata/repomd.xml’ not found on medium ‘http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2/

Any suggestions? Thanks, JW

Filezilla is already in the standard repo. Maybe temporarily turn off that KDE4 repo you must have added?

Thanks for the suggestion – that did it. I now have FileZilla installed and working fine so far. I do note that the program reports a newer version (3.3.4.1) exists and suggests I check the package manager etc. or go to a web site to download source code. I’m tempted not to bother, on the principle that the present version seems to do all I need. Thx again, JW

This repo no more existed, you should delete it from software repositories:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2/

It is changed to extra. You might consider to add this new repo if you have some community apps installed.
