I’m new in Linux.
I’ve removed Windows and all the drives with Ubuntu.
I tried to install openSUSE 12.1 x86 but at the beginning of installing 12.1, i get this message in console:
and everything gone. like system goes to standby!

because i’ve never seen messages like that…are you installing from a
downloaded disk image that you booted from?
or, maybe doing a “network install”…having downloaded that image?
or, what??
did you do this to check the correctness of the install disk:

or maybe you are not getting to the first green screen??
did you check the correctness of the image (iso) you downloaded? either
by md5 or sha1?

Ubuntu.” what does that mean? that is, did you physically remove the
hard drives, or did you remove their software (format them to blank) and
left them attached? and how drives did you remove (physicially or
format) and how many are left still attached (with or without software)…
and finally, are you now or planning on running RAID? is so, what type…

I guess that problem is for i have an old computer:
Processor (CPU): Intel(R) Celeron(R) D CPU 3.20GHz
Speed: 3,200.47 MHz
Display:
Vendor: Intel Corporation
Model: 865 G
2D driver: intel
3D driver: swrast (No 3D Acceleration) (7.11)
I solved my problem with this way that in green screen, I chose Safe for Kernel.
Now i have another problem, when i click on shut down button, openSUSE shutting down but cant turn off my computer.
