installer screen goes away

when using the yast installer, is there some way to get the gui screen
to remain open after the pkgs are installed and you want to look for &
install more pkgs? pain in the butt when it closes right away. i’m
familiar with zypper, but prefer the gui.

No. (well there may be some work around / patch)
This is a NEW feature. Some like it some don’t.
