Installed with KDE desktop and I want to try Gnome

I am new to this and was not sure if I got both installed or not. I can’t seem to find it to switch to the gnome desktop. Do I need to reinstall from scratch or can I somehow switch desktops.

Also is there a good book that I can get like openSuse 11.2 for dummies. LOL it sounds funny I know but seriously I could use it.

Thanks

Have you installed gnome?

If so you need to turn auto-login off, Personal Settings-Advanced-Login Manager.

At the bottom of the login screen there are options to choose the desktop,

If you have not installed you need to go to Yast-Software management open Patterns tab and select the 2 gnome options. Install. The above still applies.
