I installed tumbleweed with kde on my Laptop=Dell latitude E6510, RAM=8Gb, GPU=GT218 NVS 3100M, CPU=i7 Q 720 @ 1.60GHz formatting / as btrfs and taking /home as it was ext3, everything went well, then I installed all the packages I had in 13.2
it result very slow in everything involve screen activity, the screen flick and flash when I change desktop with cube. moving notes and any other window is very sticky.
the driver is nouveau, I get the advise that nouveau works badly in tumbleweed, is it possible to improve the usability of tumbleweed?

I use Tumbleweed with my laptop which has a NVS 4200M discrete video card. And the driver of NVIDIA card makes me mad so I disabled discrete video card in BIOS. After that, I feel so good with TW and decide my next laptop should never has NVIDIA card in it. lol!
Sorry that this could not be helpful. I just cannot help to dislike the video card.
