Installed 12.2 without formatting /home/user...now having problems with keyring!

I have been having issues logging into the Microsoft Exchange Server using EWS since installing openSuse 12.2. I did not format my home directory and it appears that I’m having issues with my Gnome keyring as accessed by Evolution to grab these passwords. Below is the error message from /var/log/messages file.
Sep 18 22:08:27 dotneb-gjsmith2 su: The gnome keyring socket is not owned with the same credentials as the user login: /run/user/gjsmith/keyring-OE5YFQ/control
Sep 18 22:08:27 dotneb-gjsmith2 su: gkr-pam: couldn’t unlock the login keyring
Other than rebuilding my home directory from scratch, is there anything else I can do to fix this? Thanks.

/run/user is actually tmpfs directory which is recreated every time you login, so it cannot remain from previous version. This looks like some other issue. You may try create new user with clean account whether it works there.

This error has been there for years, so you can ignore it.

Next time post such output inside code tags:

To say “This error has been there for years, so you can ignore it.” is sloppy and lazy, do you work for Mircosoft?

Just because it’s minor it’s still an annoyance for the people that you want to like your work.

Please fix this issue or people will move on to other disto’s that don’t have this issue. If no one uses your software there is no reason to continue with it.

Cheers?

We can fix nothing we are just users here. To get thing fixed post to bugzilla. If you don’t report problems they will never get fixed.
