everything went good, especially for the time it takes to install, very better than 12.2.
wired network ok, wireless network ok but after restart, sound seems ok, bluetooth not ok, adapter not recognized.
the aesthetics
I don’t like: black screen and white icons on the system tray, but fortunately they are easy to change
what the heck is the three-gradient-green strip??
unfortunately I dont checked the first-time-insert-password bug, I will…
a suggestion, disable tapping during the installation would be better
Check the bug 796671 report. The bluetooth service has not been started. Comments on the bug report gives the commands to start it.
ok, I installed packman and codecs from Index of /suse/openSUSE_Factory/ and sound and video works well
there are some news on kmix, it shows also “event sound” and when I run for example smplayer also “stream channel”…
I also updated everything and it seems to works well, only one thing, audio master channel is the wrong one, the volume cursor works only with the built in analog stereo and not with high definition audio controller digital stereo (HDMI), I will test on HDMI later
bluetooth: ok, thanks, following your hint this two commands
systemctl enable bluetooth.service
systemctl start bluetooth.service
solved the issue, the adapter is recognized, I will test if it works
the password-at-the-first-login-bug is still there
aesthetics: what should represent the “MUG” (device notifier) on the system tray??
the network wired icon is something quite far to something that should mean network…
but, why the designer are choosing monochrome icons instead of the colored ones???
Yes, I agree. That mug seems quite inappropriate. I expect that this comes from the KDE folk, rather than from opensuse.
I’ll have to look at that. I haven’t enabled NetworkManager on my wired system, and I haven’t plugged in a wire for the systems where I normally use WiFi.
I’m not too thrilled by the WiFi NetworkManager icon.
