Hi all,
I’ve just purchased a new laptop (Sony VAIO E Series - Intel i7). It came with Windows 8, though I have wiped that, as the machine is for Linux use only. The problem I have is that when I am installing openSUSE 12.3, the installation reaches 98% completion and then restarts. Upon doing so, I am prompted with the initial install screen, rather then it completing the installation. I am hardly competent with Linux, so I don’t have any idea where the problem may lie. I have tried every option of boot loader in just about every configuration (if that helps any).
Any ideas as to what may be causing this problem?
