when i install SUSE i can’t get past perform installation when i get to 5% i get an error message that says “package digikamimageplugins-superimpose is broken, integrity check has failed.” and then another when it gets to 24 it is “installation of some packages failed.” and i have no clue of whats making the problem.
Boot from the dvd and choose media check
takes a while
[if you didn’t download the image, skip #1 & #2]
- did you check the md5sum prior to burning the CD/DVD?
- did the iso image you downloaded check out ok?
- once burned, did you run the disk’s self media check routine prior
to beginning installation?
- did it check out ok?
if the answer to 2 or 4 is ‘no’ then you now own a pretty disk that
is good for lots of decorating ideas, but no good for installing
