Installation problem - monitor switches into standby mode

I have a problem installing new opensuse 12.1 32bit
When I boot up via DVD and start installation choosing item “Installation”, it shows “Loading Linux Kernel” progress bar, and after it reaches the end, monitor switches into standby mode and nothing happens. I tried different resolutions but it didn’t help.
My computer is P4 2.4 on Asus P4SP-MX mb (SiS chipset w/integrated video) - it seems installer doesn’t recognize it well, what can I do to install opensuse?

I think that I would press F5 and select VESA before I began the installation to see if that allows you to continue.

Thank You,

It helped, thank you! but vesa mode is so slow, it’s really impossible to work in KDE
