Installation on Mac hangs - "Found a Linux console terminal on /dev/console"

Hello,

I was trying to install Tumbleweed on my MacBookPro10,1 using rEFInd. On the rEFInd boot page I clicked the little penguin and was able to see the openSUSE installation page. I chose Installation and it went smoothly for a couple of minutes. Then it completely hanged there after the following lines:

—Begin—

starting yast…
Starting Installer
Probing connected terminal…

Initializing virtual console…

Found a Linux console terminal on /dev/console.

—End—

What’s the problem here? Any ideas?

Thank you!

Update:

I was able to find the solution.

On the Installation main page, I pressed ‘e’ button on keyboard. It opened up an Emacs-like editor with some parameters. At the end of the line starting with ‘linuxefi’, I added ‘acpi=off’. Then alt+F10 to boot and I was able to see the Installation GUI.
