Installation of Gnome 3 breaks Mono

After a fresh install of OpenSuse 12.1 with initial desktop environment being KDE I installed the Mono Development Packages. And then later installed Gnome 3 to test and give it a whirl. Now every time I attempt to launch Mono I receive the following error and Mono will not launch fully.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at GLib.Object.NotifyCallback (IntPtr handle, IntPtr pspec, IntPtr gch) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Can anyone point me in the right direction in order to get this fixed?

Hi
Attempted? So did the patches apply, or did you get some errors?

I would be tempted to create a bug in bugzilla about it so the mono
folks can fix it properly?

Attempts to apply the patch resulted in the following errors:

patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line
patch: **** Only garbage was found in the patch input.

And those patches were supplied from Mono folks…

Hi
Sounds like the patches were mangled… Just edit the files manually
to add the code…?
