Installation hangs on Awow AK34 (Celeron N3450)

Hi, I am trying to install OpenSUSE current version of Tumbleweed (but same result with Leap 15.3).
Neither of the installers completes successfully.
Typically it hangs during package installation process.
Is there any issue with this platform?
Appreciate your comments … BR, Matthias.

Always on the same spot (the same package to be installed)?

Can you install with nomodeset as parameter?

What installation method do you use (LIVE-, NET-, DVD-media)?

Did you download the media needed by your architecture?

Did you check the iso file after download?

What package causes the problem?

Hi, thanks for your reply!
I am using ISO image (Intel or AMD 64-bit desktops, laptops, and servers (x86_64)) on a bootable USB stick (created using Rufus).
Installation process runs all the way through package installation when it hangs at different points (once it went to „1 package left to be installed“). Not sure how to see which package is the one when process stops.
Best regards, Matthias.

Have you tried to install with nomodeset?

Did you verify the installation image (SDB:Download help - openSUSE Wiki - as far as I know the procedure is the same for all openSUSE images)?

Will the installation process really hang “forever” (how long did you wait for it to complete)?

What is your target partition(s) setup, is there enough space to handle all the packages?

Hi Sauerland, the „nomodeset“ seems to have done the job :-). Installation finishes successfully then. Many thanks for the hint! Best regards, Matthias.

Hi susejunky, thanks for your help! Seems, the nomodeset option resolves the issue. Anyway, ver much appreciate your support! Best regards, Matthias.
