Installation gui is corrupt

Hi,
When I try to install the OS from the usb I get a corrupted gui, where everything gets blended together from one page to the other. What is the reason for this? Also I don’t see dark blue section to the left with the Suse logo

At what point in installation does the corruption begin?

What GPU do you have?

It happens between the keyboard layout section and wifi setup.

My graphic card is NV108/ Mesa Intel HD Graphics 4000 (IVB GT2)

Forgot to mention that it works in combination with Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphic card.

I think Optimus with UEFI users need to append nomodeset to the linu line via the E key at the bootloader menu of the installation media. Subsequently, at software selection, suse-prime needs to be added if it’s not pre-selected. Non-UEFI users can do a functional equivalent nomodeset via Fn key menu selection or manually.

Thank you very much it worked!

I’m a newbie to Linux so I was wondering how do I setup my wifi card to connect with the wifi router during the installation process? So I can download repositories. It seems complicated compared to other distros. It says that I’m not connected.

The wi-fi issue needs it’s own thread, to attract readers who might know how to help. I know nothing about troubleshooting wi-fi.

Ok, I will do that.
