install xmms on suse

greatings

can anyone tell,how to install xmms player on suse 11.2(i586)?
any help would be aprecciated…

if you have the packman repo set up just do a search for xmms in yast and install it from there

if not go to this website:-

PackMan :: Package details for xmms

download both xmms and xmms-libs

then open a terminal window and type in:-

su

{add your root password}

then type

rpm -Uvh xmms*.rpm

then press enter

then type:-

SuSEconfig

press enter and close the terminal window once it is finished

xmms should then be in your start menu under multimedia / audio player
