Install via FTP boxed version not ISO

Hi,

I have the retail boxed version of OpenSuse 11.1.

Since I copied all the files to my spare box as files the original DVD has gone missing and I need to reinstall it on this box. I did not create an .ISO file of the DVD.

Can I just do an network install and point yast to the ftp directory?

Yes, you can, if you have ftp running on the other box. You could also use NFS. On boot specify the kind of install, HDD, http, ftp, nfs.
Works great in a network, installing at 10 completely different machines.
