Install / Uninstall History in Software Management?

I recently installed and uninstalled some packages. Now, my Personal Settings (Configure Desktop) does nothing when I click any of the icons it presents. I think I may have deleted some library it depends on for function. I’ve looked at the various menu options in Software Management but see nothing that would allow me to take a look at exactly what I uninstalled. Does it have a History function that I’m overlooking? If it doesn’t is there anyone who has an idea what package Personal Settings uses?

One of the best method will be, repair the OS using openSUSE DVD. You do not have to worry about what you un-installed then…

Try it and see if this can get things right!

Do not use the repair function, you’ve already updated a lot. It looks like you removed some of the kde4-workspace packages.
Reinstall everything from the KDE4 repos in your software installer. This should pick up the missing libs as well.

Thank you for your reply. I reinstalled everything from the KDE Core and KDE QT 4.2 repositories, but that didn’t fix the problem.

I won’t have access to my install CD for a couple of days, but will try that when I do.
