Dear friends:
I install the SALOME platform with package installer in leap 42.2.
the result show " installation was sucessful" , but i can not find the directory of the SALOME, it seems nothing was installed.
how to resolve this problem.
Regards
What do you mean with “package installer”? YaST > Software > Software Management?
If you installed with YaST, you can see all the files that are installed by using YaST > Software > Software Management, using the seach function for the package, then you see if it is installed and when you select it, you can use the Tab List of Files below to see what is installed where.
What’s more is that the sources haven’t been updated for three years, and nobody seems to actively maintain it since all the later builds fail.

Hi
Better to use the universal binaries installer and install/run as your
user.
