Install Python-devel on Suse Enterprice 11

Hi,

I am trying to install the python devlopment headers on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.1 (i586). I have tried searching in and using zypper but it looks like they just don’t exist. I come form a Debian background so have no idea how to resolve this and was wondering if anyone has any ideas? I can’t believe there would be a python package but no development package

More info
System:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.1 (i586)
Linux 2.6.32.59-0.3-xen i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Python package:
python-2.6.8-0.15.1

I get the feeling i am missing something obvious but i have no idea what.

Thanks in advanced

Hi
Wrong forum…this is for openSUSE, you should look at posting at
http://forums.suse.com.

You need to add the SLE SDK it’s a download from here;
http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=zzeQqpY9nK4~

Note, add the iso image via YaST add on products so it will add the
relevant update and online repositories.
