I downloaded 11.2, installed it on an x86 machine with Gnome desktop. It seemed to run fine. Later I used YaST to change to KDE desktop. That did not work, killed the system. I went back, tried to reinstall from the original download DVD, reinstall failed with the message “No repository found”. I haven’t been able to do a thing with the machine since, except that a Knoppix disk I have does run on the machine. Suggestions would be more than welcome.
Did you do this:
Ok, you put the DVD in the system and reboot, start the install,at what point do you get this message? Also did you use the option at the original screen to check the DVD? Did you check the md5sum of the download before burning?
