I’m installing 11.4 on a late-2010 Macbook Air. I’ve forgotten my USB ethernet adapter, although I’m not sure if it would even work in OpenSUSE. Is there a way I can install packages manually (via USB drive) to get wireless working?

sure, if you have a package (.rpm) on your USB drive, just double-clicking on it will normally suffice (unless there are dependencies, where more packages might be needed).
I presume you have access to another computer to get the package onto the usb stick?
