Install openSUSE alongside Windows 7 from Hard drive (ISO file)

Hi Guys,

Need small help . I have windows 7 installed on my machine. am thinking to install openSUSE alongside windows7.

Have an openSUSE 13.2 ISO file.

i know, how to install it from USB/DVD. But wanted to check with you guys whether I can install it from HDD.

Thanks in advance;) .

Yes, you can, but you need to place ISO on a filesystem that installer can read. I am not sure if NTFS will work in this case. Just try if installer let’s you select ISO. If you have FAT volume it should work.
