Install newer kernel (e.g. 4.4.1)

Is it possible to install a newer kernel than 3.16.7+ for openSUSE 13.2, e.g. 4.4.1 without compiling my own? Specifically, is there a valid repository which contains a recent kernel version or is my only option to go to Leap/Tumbleweed?

AFAIK the “officially” supported kernel in 13.2 is still 3.16.7.
But if you dare to experiment, kernels from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/ might work, although I think that jumping from 3.x to 4.x might involve some risk.
So, be sure not to wipe your “working” kernel while upgrading: please read the list of kernels to keep from
/etc/zypp/zypp.conf:multiversion.kernels

Why will you switch to a newer kernel?
Is something not working?

And think of that:
All precompiled kernel-packages such as broadcom-wl, virtualbox, nvidia or ati from repo are not working with a newer kernel…
